Massage Therapy can be beneficial at any stage in your rehabilitation. Whether you have been experiencing acute or persistent pain, have been dealing with long term tension, looking for relief during your pregnancy, or things just started feeling tight, Massage Therapy can help.
Registered Massage Therapists are primary health care providers in Ontario meaning you can receive treatment without a prescription. You would only need a referral from your physician if your extended health plan requires one for reimbursement.
What will your Massage Therapy session look like?
During your initial session with a Registered Massage Therapist, your past medical history, current concerns and goals will be discussed.
Your massage therapist will assess your movement and tissues to ensure an individualized treatment plan is created to address your specific needs.
A treatment session may include:
- Deep tissue massage
- Muscle release techniques
- Joint mobilization
- Acupuncture
Rates
30 minute appointment - $75 + HST
45 minute appointment - $90 + HST
60 minute appointment - $110 + HST
